SOCIAL CARE LEADER

Our Residential care homes provide medium to long term residential
care and aftercare services for young people (aged 8 - **Apply on the
website**) - who are looked after within the care system.

Our services in Dublin offer an excellent opportunity to join an
exciting childcare facility, allowing them to play an active role in
service development, while working within a structured and supportive
team.

WELLTREE MODEL OF CARE:

Dun na n?g use The Welltree model is informed by the national

are respected, protected, and fulfilled, where their voices are heard,
and they are supported to achieve the maximum of their potential now
and in the future. The Welltree model promotes and provides highly
effective responses to meet the needs and address the risks that may
be presented by traumatised young people. The approach respects
everyone?s gender, culture and beliefs and focuses on the
development of healthy relationships which challenge and support young
people without judging them. Personal accountability is accomplished
through the provision of unconditional positive regard, honest and
empathy.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

_ESSENTIAL_

* Candidates?MUST?have a relevant qualification.?At a minimum a
B.A. in Social Care Level 7, B.A. in Applied Social Studies, Social
Work, Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology.
* It is essential that Candidates must have at least 3 years?
experience working with young people at risk in a residential care
setting. Candidates also must have experience working with young
people with challenging behaviour, and in a therapeutic setting.
* Candidates must have a deep commitment to children?s rights and
child protection and enjoy working in a dynamic, challenging
environment.

_DESIRABLE:_

* A full clean driving license.

CONTRACT: Full time permanent and Relief Contracts available

REMUNERATION:

Pay scales are offered in accordance with Tusla scales. This is
reviewed annually at an incremental level and is based on two **Apply

including sleepover and day shifts.
